TOILET HIRE’S SUCCESS AT SHOWMAN’S SHOW

TOILET Hire UK was one of 400 leading companies from the events industry to exhibit at the Showman’s Show in Newbury in October.

The UK’s second largest provider of portable toilets to the events industry displayed its Regal and Regent units and its four bay shower units at the annual event held at the Newbury Showground.

The Showman’s Show is the only outdoor show of its kind in the UK, and attracted more than 4,000 visitors over two days this year.

Paul Barton, Toilet Hire UK’s sales and marketing director, said: “The event was an excellent opportunity for us to catch up with many of our existing event clients, and also to meet a range of potential new clients.

“We generated some very good leads during the event and will definitely be exhibiting again in 2007.”

Other service providers to exhibit at the Showman’s Show included mobile caterers, marquee sellers, security firms, electrical contractors, event organisers and photographers.

There were also exhibits from companies providing children’s entertainment, balloon modelling, extreme sports, equestrian displays and hot air balloon rides.

Toilet Hire UK has 12 sites across the country enabling them to provide toilets and washing facilities for events and firms nationwide.

It has supplied toilets for events such as the Cancer Research Race for Life series, Glastonbury Festival, BBC Proms in the Park, The Great Manchester Run, the Notting Hill Carnival and the Network Q Rally in Wales. Its construction clients include Carillon, AMEY and Balfour Beatty.
