TOILET HIRE PLAY KEY ROLL IN BBC EVENT

TOILET Hire UK flushed away the competition to supply the toilets at the BBC Proms in the Park event in Manchester, headlined by Katie Melua.

The UK’s second largest provider of portable toilets and washing facilities to the events industry provided 20 single toilets, eight multi-unit toilet trailers and two disabled toilets to the event in Heaton Park.

Over 10,000 people attended the event which featured Katie Melua, BBC Young Musician of the Year, Mark Simpson, the Manchester BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and swing singer Cole Page.

Paul Barton, Toilet Hire UK sales and marketing director said: “The BBC Proms in the Park event is quickly becoming one of the highlights of Manchester’s outdoor events calendar and we are pleased to have helped the event run smoothly.”

BBC Proms in the Park is not the only event Toilet Hire UK and Manchester Council have worked together on in 2006. Toilet Hire UK also supplied facilities to the Sports Relief Mile run in central Manchester.

Toilet Hire UK has 12 depots across the country enabling them to provide toilets and washing facilities for events nationwide. Last year they supplied toilets for events such as the Cancer Research Race for Life series and the Royal Lancashire Show. Its construction clients include Carillon, AMEY, Balfour Beatty and Morgan Sindall.
