TOILET HIRE ENGAGE AMCO IN A NATIONAL CONTRACT

THE UK’s second largest provider of portable toilets to the construction industry has secured a contract with a national construction and engineering contractor.

Haydock-based Toilet Hire UK has won a tender to supply portable toilets and washing facilities to AMCO, a major construction and engineering contractor which provides solutions for engineering, rail, tunnelling and mining contracts.

Toilet Hire UK has 12 depots across the UK enabling them to deliver toilet units quickly and efficiently to AMCO construction sites throughout the country. It will also provide a weekly waste management service to the units.

With a turnover of £126 million in 2005, AMCO works on a wide range of national and international construction projects for a number of different industries, including engineering, transport and mining. It is currently working on projects including constructing emergency refuge rooms below the road decks of the Mersey tunnels and refurbishing the East Coast main line.

Toilet Hire UK’s construction clients include Carillon, AMEY, Balfour Beatty and Select Plant. It also supplies toilets to events such as the Cancer Research Race for Life series, Glastonbury Festival, BBC Proms in the Park and the Network Q Rally in Wales.
