THE UK’s second largest provider of portable toilets and washing facilities has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new finance director.
Matt Mussell has taken over the role at Toilet Hire UK from new managing director John Meadows following a management restructure.
The 39-year-old from Preston joins the Haydock based company from Morgan Est Utilities where he was divisional finance director. Matt, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), has worked in accountancy roles at utility contracting firms for over 14 years. He said:
“I am delighted to have been offered this opportunity by Toilet Hire UK and am looking forward to being part of the company as it continues to develop and attempts to become the UK’s leading portable toilet provider.”
John Meadows, Toilet Hire UK’s managing director, welcomed Matt to the company. He said:
“We are pleased that we have been able to appoint Matt at an important time for the company. Having worked with him in the past, I am sure that he will be very successful at Toilet Hire and will help us to implement our growth plans efficiently.”
Toilet Hire UK has 12 sites across the country enabling them to provide toilets and washing facilities for events and firms nationwide. Last year they supplied 1300 toilets for events such as the Cancer Research Race for Life series and the Royal Lancashire Show. Its construction clients include Carillon, AMEY and Balfour Beatty.
