CHANGE OF 'ROLLS' AT TOILET HIRE UK?

One of the UK’s largest providers of portable toilets to the construction and event industries is pleased to announce that current Toilet Hire UK managing director Mike Greenough has become executive chairman with financial director John Meadows taking over as managing director.
A new financial director will be announced in August. Mike and John acquired Toilet Hire UK from Speedy Hire plc, along with fellow director Dennis Lawless, in February 2005. It now works in partnership with over 3,000 UK customers, providing 5,400 units from 12 depots around the UK.

The restructure will allow Mike to spend time developing new business opportunities for the company. He said:

“It was always the plan that John would take over as managing director, and I have every confidence he will take the company to the next stage of its development.”

“He has vast experience of various business sectors including the construction and service industries and I wish him every success in taking Toilet Hire UK forward.”

Mike will handover responsibilities to John during July before concentrating on acquisitions and business strategy for the firm. John said:

“I would like to thank Mike for all his efforts and look forward to continuing and improving his excellent work. We now have a strong management team in place and I am looking forward to exploiting the growth opportunities that exist in this fragmented marketplace. ”

Toilet Hire UK has 12 sites across the country enabling them to provide toilets and washing facilities for events and firms nationwide. Last year they supplied 1300 toilets for events such as the Cancer Research Race for Life series and the Royal Lancashire Show. Its construction clients include Carillon, AMEY and Balfour Beatty.
